The primary active peptide is thought to be Ala-Glu-Asp-Gln (AEDQ) or a related tetrapeptide, though exact sequence is not confirmed in Western literature. Proposed mechanism: organ-specific gene expression modulation — the tetrapeptide acts as a tissue-specific signalling molecule that normalizes prostate epithelial cell function and reduces inflammatory signalling.
