Research Disclaimer

Personalized Peptides is an educational information service. This page sets out important limitations on how our content should — and should not — be interpreted. Please read it carefully.
Regulatory Status
The statements, protocols, and recommendations on this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), or any equivalent regulatory body.
The peptide compounds referenced on this site are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Many of the peptides we discuss are classified as research chemicals and are not approved as medicines in most jurisdictions.
Research Context
The scientific citations and study references we provide are drawn from peer-reviewed literature. We cite real studies in real journals. But there is an important distinction to understand:
- Many of the studies we reference were conducted in animal models, in-vitro settings, or small human cohorts. Results from these studies do not necessarily translate to clinical outcomes in humans.
- A study showing that a peptide produces a measurable biological effect is not the same as proof that it is safe, effective, or appropriate for any specific individual.
- The field of peptide research is evolving. Established findings are regularly refined or overturned as new evidence emerges.
We present the research as context — not as a guarantee of results.
Individual Variation
Peptide response is highly individual. The same compound at the same dose can produce different effects in different people — and no effect at all in some. Factors that influence response include:
- Age, sex, and hormonal status.
- Genetic variants affecting metabolism and receptor sensitivity.
- Existing health conditions and concurrent medications.
- Lifestyle factors including diet, sleep, and training load.
- The purity, sourcing, and storage conditions of the peptide itself.
Our quiz uses the information you provide to estimate which peptides are most likely to align with your profile. This is an educated estimate — not a certainty. Your actual response may differ.
Important Warnings
Before considering any peptide protocol, be aware that:
- Prescription status varies. Some peptides we discuss — including Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Retatrutide — require a prescription in the United States and many other countries. We will flag this where relevant, but it remains your responsibility to verify the legal status of any compound in your jurisdiction.
- GH-axis peptides carry specific risks. Growth hormone secretagogues (CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, Sermorelin, Tesamorelin, and related compounds) may be contraindicated in individuals with a history of cancer. If you have any cancer history — active or in remission — consult an oncologist before considering these compounds.
- GLP-1 agonists have known side effects. Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Retatrutide can cause gastrointestinal side effects, gallbladder issues, and other complications. They are not suitable for everyone.
- Purity and sourcing matter. Peptides obtained from unverified sources may be impure, mislabeled, or contaminated. We connect users to vetted suppliers, but we do not manufacture, test, or guarantee the quality of any third-party product.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Almost no peptide has been studied for safety in pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, do not use peptides.
DNA & Epigenetic Testing
Our optional DNA and epigenetic test kits:
- Are processed by a CLIA-certified laboratory partner, but CLIA certification does not constitute FDA approval of the test or its interpretation.
- Provide information about genetic variants and epigenetic markers that may be associated with peptide response — not definitive predictors of what will or will not work.
- Are intended for wellness and informational purposes, not for diagnosing any medical condition.
Your genetic data can change in interpretation over time as the scientific understanding of specific variants evolves. We recommend reviewing your results with a qualified healthcare professional.
No Clinical Relationship
Use of this website does not establish a doctor-patient relationship with Personalized Peptides, its staff, or any clinician whose details we may share with you.
The AI concierge is an automated educational tool. It is not a healthcare professional, it cannot diagnose you, and its output should not be treated as clinical advice. Any decision to act on information provided by the concierge is yours alone.
Supplier Relationships
When we connect you to a pharmacy, clinic, or peptide supplier, we do so as an introductory service only. We do not:
- Control the products, pricing, or practices of any supplier.
- Guarantee the availability, quality, or safety of any product.
- Receive compensation that depends on the outcome of any clinical interaction.
Any transaction between you and a third-party supplier is governed by that supplier’s own terms. Disputes must be resolved directly with the supplier.
Evolving Science
Peptide science is advancing rapidly. The recommendations, citations, and educational content on this site reflect the evidence available at the time of publication. We update our content periodically, but we make no commitment to reflect every new study as it appears.
Always check for the most current information before making health decisions. The fact that we have cited a study does not mean we endorse every conclusion its authors have drawn, nor that it represents the current consensus.
